Here’s a few observations of what we consider to be current marketing trends. There may be some things you didn’t know about that may help you in the coming months too.

Influencer Marketing/Brand Ambassadors.
This is definitely on the rise and is a very powerful method of marketing.
Whether this be an individual considered as an ‘ambassador’ or a group of people within a specific niche market with relevant target market as followers or an affiliate scheme on your website. You may not realise but some of the biggest companies in the world have influencers that they use within their marketing strategy. Some of these companies are the likes of Nike, Adidas, Sainsbury’s, SubWay, Quorn, FCUK, Calvin Klein and many more.

Increase in Facebook/Instagram sponsored adverts.
Have you noticed this too? Scrolling down your news feed then “BOOM” an irritating or FAB offer pops up in your face? Yep, it’s definitely on the rise!…
This is because Facebook now restricts reach on posts. What we mean by this is, unless you’re prepared to pay into Facebook you virtually may as well not bother being on there..
But we would encourage having a Facebook account and a presence on Facebook as it will still produce some organic results for your business. Unsure how to set up great Facebook ads? – This is something we do very well!

Discount codes
We have also noticed majority of companies are now learning how to track sales efficiently by introducing a discount code for different campaigns.
We highly recommend doing this so you can see what works and what doesn’t work.
It also helps those ‘word of mouth’ referrals as passing around a discount code increases the reach. We also believe it engages better on social media and appears to be a better sale as it looks like you are saving more. This isn’t just a method for online marketing this is also cropping up in magazine adverts, tv campaigns and radio advertisements.
